Deutsche Post DHL Group continues profitable growth trajectory in the third quarter

The Group once again significantly increased both revenue and operating profit in the third quarter of 2017. Group revenue was up by 5.6% to EUR 14.6 billion, with all four divisions contributing to the increase. The DHL Express division and the German and international parcel and eCommerce businesses continued to see particularly solid growth. With EBIT of EUR 834 million (2016: EUR 755 million), Deutsche Post DHL Group recorded the strongest third quarter in its history and the eighth consecutive quarter in which the company has posted an all-time quarterly high.
