The web service received the Postal Technology International Award 2012 in the category of 'Retail Innovation of the Year'.
An important award has been presented to the location check offered in the GEOVISTA portfolio: Yesterday, the web service received the Postal Technology International Award 2012 in the category of Retail Innovation of the Year at the Post Expo in Brussels. The award jury noted that the service launched in March 2012 filled a gap in geomarketing. The jurors also pointed out that there was no other similar solution being offered in the market that was both user friendly and affordable.

"Thanks to the Standortcheck, small and midsized companies can also easily use proven geomarketing know-how. Up to now, this has largely been reserved for large companies. With our do-it-yourself solution, we even make geomarketing attractive to people starting their own businesses."
Analysis of business potential is just a mouse click away
Users need no background knowledge to perform the check. The service is aimed at any business person interested in estimating earnings opportunities and analyzing business potential. The online tool helps users prepare a realistic sales forecast based on a scientific model. A desired location can be evaluated by using high-quality geodata provided by the subsidiary Deutsche Post Direct. In a second step, local competitors are analyzed - with the aid of up-to-date data provided by beDirect, a joint venture of arvato & Creditreform. The subsequent visualization of business-location factors and the area being studied are presented on a digital map. In addition, the user receives a detailed analysis report that is about 30 pages long.
