Deutsche Post launches major PR campaign
- Powerful promotion as "The Postal Service for Germany"
- Mail carriers represent the brand's core values
Deutsche Post will promote the strengths of its core MAIL business over the summer with a wide-ranging PR campaign. In it, TV commercials and print ads in daily and weekly newspapers and popular magazines emphasize the true scale of the logistical effort that goes into each and every letter delivered. At the heart of the campaign are the mail carriers, the company's public ambassadors and embodiments of such core values as reliability and trustworthiness. The aim of the PR offensive, designed in conjunction with the Jung von Matt agency, is to show business and private customers that Deutsche Post's unique service makes it "the postal service for Germany".The campaign is backed by a range of accompanying measures which have already been attracting the attention of newspaper readers and mail recipients to the campaign's core statements over the past few weeks. Eight-page supplements and columns in daily newspapers as well as around 40 million mailshots distributed to German households have helped communicate the brand's core values.Other plans include supplements in magazines published by the German Chambers of Commerce and Industry, online communications plus a customer contact point in Deutsche Post retail outlets nationwide.
