Einkaufaktuell in Bremen and Saarbrücken from September
- Extended distribution areas in Hamburg and Hanover
- Number of households covered rises to around 14.7 million
Deutsche Post will introduce EINKAUFAKTUELL, its successful product for regional door-to-door advertising, in the greater Bremen area (Weser/Ems) and in Saarbrücken (Saarland) in early September. At the same time, the greater areas of Brunswick and Lübeck will be added to extend the current distribution areas of Hanover and Hamburg.
From August, approximately another 1.7 million households can be added to the current figure of around 13 million included in the coverage. This corresponds to a 13 percent increase in the potential coverage of EINKAUFAKTUELL.
This means that after a successful start more than three years ago, it will soon be possible for advertising companies to cover around 14.7 million households in the greater areas of Hamburg/Lübeck, Hanover, Berlin, Munich and Nuremburg, as well as in the metropolitan areas of Rhine/Main, Rhine/Neckar, NRW Ruhr, NRW Rhineland, NRW Kölner Bucht, Weser/Ems and Saarland. The background to this expansion is corresponding customer demand based on the successful introduction of EINKAUFAKTUELL in the current distribution areas.
EINKAUFAKTUELL includes up to eight enclosures by different companies. Enclosures by several companies are combined with a TV guide, which acts as the carrier. This creates an interesting mix of the latest door-to-door advertising and a TV guide, in which several ad-pages offer space for further advertisements.
Several individual flyers are grouped together with the carrier by machine and sealed in a recyclable, weather-proof plastic bag. Delivery by Deutsche Post to households in the distribution areas usually takes place on Saturdays - special deliveries and national holiday regulations excluded. Households with "no advertising" notices are, of course, excluded from the delivery.
