On September 28 DHL Express (Switzerland) AG celebrated the beginning of construction on its largest and most modern distribution hub. Dr. Martin Müller-Duysing, Managing Director DHL Express (Switzerland), symbolically performed the ground-breaking ceremony. Not only will parcels and freight shipments be processed in Regensdorf starting at the end of 2007, but also marketing and sales activities for Switzerland will be managed from there.

Next to the current DHL building, a parcel and express HUB having the most state-of-the-art technology will be constructed in which all DHL Express products can be consolidated and distributed. An office complex with space for up to 420 employees will also be built in addition to the production facility for parcels, express and freight shipments.
"We are investing in a modern competence and logistics center for national and international Express parcels and Freight shipments in the Zurich economic area. This new center is a further contribution to the successful development of DHL (Switzerland)," says Martin Müller-Duysing, Managing Director of DHL Express (Switzerland).
