DHL exhibition at "transport logistic 2005" in Munich
- One-stop logistics for global companies
- Customer orientation through Packstation and "Friendly Button"
- Varied presentation program all about logistics
Complete logistics solutions, innovative services, and an extensive program of presentations are at the center of Deutsche Post World Net's appearance at the "transport logistic" trade fair, which takes place from May 31 to June 3 in Munich's trade fair grounds. With an exciting cross-section from the DHL express and logistics subsidiary's range of services, the Group's presentation at the industry's leading European trade fair is more international then ever.
The DHL stand 201/300 in hall A5 offers visitors a panoramic view of the complete DHL world. The core competencies of the four business units, DHL Express, DHL Freight, DHL Danzas Air & Ocean, DHL Solutions, as well as the international mail business under the DHL Global Mail brand will be presented. Postbank representatives, who supplement the offer of integrated logistics solutions with information on logistics financing, complete the competence team at the stand.
As part of a program of specialist presentations that will change each day, DHL managers and experts provide information on important express and logistics subjects; among others on trade with China, flexibly implementable industry solutions, innovative products such as the "Packstation" and the "Friendly button", the dispatch box for wine bottles, as well as on the service portfolio for mail order or online sales. At noon on the first three days of the fair, globally active key accounts of DHL, among them Siemens, will report on their logistics processes and their successful cooperation with DHL.
The presentation of a new product from the environmental field, the "Green Parcel", with the subsequent awarding of this year's DHL environmental award on June 1, as well as two special events on June 2 - a presentation by Professor Christopher Jahns on "Success factors for logistics management" with a subsequent podium discussion and the presentation of the planned DHL hub at the Leipzig/Halle airport - round off the exhibition by the leading express and logistics service provider.
