Every day, DHL delivers some 100,000 Quelle parcels; over this year, 27 million main catalogs will be arriving at customers' doorsteps, while Deutsche Post's mail carriers bring another 300 million Quelle letters as well as special catalogs under 1,000 grams to German households. "For us, the billionth parcel is a record that also fills us with pride over this long-standing customer relationship," said Dr. Klaus Zumwinkel, Chairman of the Board of Management of Deutsche Post World Net.
A lottery and promotional offer, highlighted by the participation of Günther Jauch as well as Thomas and Christoph Gottschalk, will be heating up the "billion fever" until just shortly before Christmas. "What can there be in the billionth parcel?" is the lottery's question. Anyone can submit a personal tip via entry card - available in all Quelle outlets and all Deutsche Post retail outlets - as well as over the Internet (www.quelle.de and www.dhl.de). 16 remarkable prizes will be vied for every week. The grand prizes are a vacation house on Rügen for 33 years and a private vacation island for a month. There's also good reason to look forward to Quelle's "billions" offer: every week of the promotional period from September 2 to December 23, a current product at a particularly attractive price will be on offer.
