Standard Chartered Bank Awards Contract to DHL

DHL to manage international document and parcel express shipments DHL has been awarded a two-year contract by Standard Chartered Bank to undertake international door-to-door express services for the Bank's offices globally. This multi-million dollar contract underpins Standard Chartered's endorsement of DHL as the Exclusive Provider for the Bank's global express services covering documents and parcels deliveries from the Bank's worldwide offices to all destinations around the world.
Standard Chartered's requirements will be overseen by DHL's Global Customer Solutions (GCS) division which was established in January 2004 to manage the company's top global customers.
GCS was created to provide a single point of contact across all markets for DHL's top global customers. DHL has long standing logistical experience and provides services to various multinational customers in the financial sector.

Located across the DHL global network, the GCS teams coordinate all of DHL's express, air and ocean freight services as well as offer consultancy in solution development, implementation coordination, performance management and access to global industry expertise. The GCS teams based in Asia, Europe and the US comprise front and backend professionals made up of Global and Regional Customer Managers, Solution Consultants, Implementation and Program Support Managers.
