DHL Fulfilment has won a new customer for its logistics center in Aachen specializing in eCommerce customers. The service provider, specializing in complete logistics solutions, is taking over the entire logistics operations for the direct marketing of the gift article and stuffed animal producer NICI AG.
The business with NICI will involve around 20,000 mail items at first. In the future, each month a new and current NICI edition will be added that will be processed via the logistics center. The goal of the partnership is to continuously expand the consignment volume up to 200,000 parcels per year.
The services for NICI AG, which produces the Official FIFA World Cup 2006TM Mascot GOLEO VI among other things, cover the entire supply chain, from the acceptance of goods to inventory management to delivery to the end consumer. The entire payment and returns management will also be taken over by DHL Fulfilment.
Together with its cooperation partner SE.LL Marketing GmbH, DHL Fulfilment as a full service provider has also set up an online shop at www.nicikaufen.de, as well as a customer service center for NICI. The orders are automatically sent to the logistics center in Aachen. DHL Fulfilment does the order picking for the items and sends them out on the same day.
