Quelle AG and Deutsche Post World Net are enhancing their successful cooperation. At a joint press conference in Leipzig on August 29, Chairman of the Management Board of KarstadtQuelle AG, Thomas Middelhoff, and Klaus Zumwinkel, Chairman of the Board of Management of Deutsche Post World Net, kicked off a four-month sales offensive involving their subsidiaries DHL and Quelle. The campaign steps up the close partnership between Europe's mail-order firm with the highest sales figures and DHL, the leading parcel service provider in the mail-order business. The cooperation's results are transparent: In the fourth quarter of this year DHL will deliver the billionth Quelle parcel.
The quality of logistics service is of great importance to mail-order customer satisfaction: Speed, reliability, and a good cost-to-performance ratio are decisive. With over 12,000 retail outlets, nationwide delivery - including Saturdays - and the PACKSTATION delivery alternative, DHL guarantees a high level of customer proximity and accounts for the changed habits of many consumers.
