Deutsche Post is once again one of the largest exhibitors at this year's DIMA fair in Düsseldorf. Under the motto "Reaching people" it will be presenting individualized solutions along the entire dialog marketing value chain. Target group analyses, list management, creative and low-cost dispatch solutions, and response management are among the hot issues at its exhibition stand.
The strongest emphasis is given to the advertising companies' individual needs. All dialog marketing measures are tailored specifically to clients' requirements. Visitors to Deutsche Post's stand at the Düsseldorf fair are offered up-to-date know-how, news and tips alongside a wide range of innovative products such as Adressdialog, a service that combines the advantages of a personalized letter with those afforded by the internet.
Consumers can use a personal code printed on the mailshot to send their response to the advertising company conveniently via the internet, while the companies in turn can monitor consumer responses directly via computer. Deutsche Post also has other address innovations in store: its intercultural address databases allow clients to filter by ethnic background to open up new target groups and customize products and services to fit their needs.
The innovative Testbox product, a mixed-media format, enables clients to communicate with new target groups and keep waste coverage to a minimum. Brand retailers send Testboxes with product samples to registered end consumers in order to animate them to purchase these products.
Another innovation presented at Deutsche Post's stand is Mein Glückstag! (My lucky day), a print-based communication platform that is a combination of an entertainment magazine and an online prize draw community.
Prize draws and sweepstakes are integrated into an interesting editorial context. The concept offers consumers a wide range of response options such as response cards, internet and text messaging. For advertisers, Mein Glückstag! offers several advantages including a direct communication channel for new target groups, low-cost, high-impact address lists, and the initiation of an efficient dialog with consumers, allowing advertisers to mobilize new revenue sources.
DIMA's trade fair-plus-conference format makes it a major industry event for marketing executives. On all three days of the fair Deutsche Post representatives will be delivering presentations in the Dialog Forum on major topics connected to dialog marketing, allowing fair visitors to stay completely up to date on all innovations in the field. Deutsche Post will be presenting three publications at DIMA: the studies Direktmarketing Deutschland 2005 and Direkt Marketing Monitor International 2005 (DMMI), and the specialist publication Internationales Direktmarketing - Grundlagen, Best Practice, Marketingfakten.
