"Welcome to Mail" - DHL Global Mail's European campaign

"You know us for Express and Logistics" - "Welcome to Mail" - this is the advertising slogan Deutsche Post World Net will be using to launch its new international mail business brand. Since the transition from Deutsche Post Global Mail to DHL Global Mail, DHL's role has grown - from global express and logistics to handling the Group's international mail services. The ever-strong "Deutsche Post" brand will continue to handle and expand mail solutions and services in Germany, with special attention paid to direct marketing.
Customer mailings and advertisements will run parallel to the rebranding, appearing throughout all of Europe. "We are drawing on DHL's worldwide reputation for our mail business. It's another steady step in the expansion of our one-stop-shopping approach, and right now it's all about charging the DHL brand with mail solutions know-how," says Wolfgang Giehl, who is responsible for brands and advertising at Deutsche Post World Net.
The ad campaign will launch at the start of February and will appear in the trade media in nine European countries and in eight different languages. Responsible for the campaign's creation and design as well as its adaptation to the various countries is the Wunderman ad agency based in Frankfurt. The campaign's two-month teaser phase will be followed up by a series of industry-related image advertisements.
