Writing, buying, helping: Starting immediately, Deutsche Post is making it possible for everyone to support the work of SOS-Kinderdorf (SOS Children's Villages). Deutsche Post is wishing SOS Children's Villages a happy 50th birthday under the motto "a summer full of happy moments." And since no birthday can be celebrated without a present, in addition to the free "Happy moments" mailing set with a greeting card and sun stickers, special outlet products that serve to help children can be purchased at Deutsche Post retail outlets. With every purchased "Blumengruß" stamp set, PLUSPÄCKCHEN or order for storage service during the campaign month of July, Deutsche Post will donate one "happiness" cent to SOS Children's Villages in Germany.
The well-known aid organization has the support of many companies for the months-long campaign in celebration of its 50th anniversary. For Deutsche Post, it therefore made sense to tie its summer mail campaign in with support for SOS Children's Villages. Along with stickers and postcards, each "Happy moments" mailing set thus contains a payment form for a direct donation to the aid group. The set is furthermore part of a mailing to be sent to 2.6 million households in July.
Anyone wishing to send their personal moments of happiness can of course order more cards free-of-charge at www.briefeschreiben.de. In addition, promotion teams sent out by Deutsche Post are en route in July to popular North Sea and Baltic beaches, local swimming holes and city centers for a special campaign. Anyone who wants to can have their picture taken and their personal summer snapshot printed out on the spot as an authentic postcard. These individualized vacation postcards can be written and sent gratis right at the promotional stand.
