Deutsche Post is expanding its communication portal ePOST. From today, at www.epost.de e-mail users can choose from three powerful service packages for electronic communication: ePOST BASIC, ePOST PLUS and ePOST PREMIUM. The new packages represent a considerable enhancement for the existing e-mail service and offer a range of new functions and services.
The ePOST portal provides each e-mail user with his or her own personal e-mail address in the format email@example.com. Users can send and retrieve e-mail messages via the internet, regardless of the provider, and can now choose from the following service packages:
ePOST BASIC provides free access to the ePOST portal alongside the most important e-mail communication functions. These include a personalised e-mail address, worldwide mailbox access via internet, 9 MB of storage space, 30 days' message retention and many more standard ePOST services.
ePOST PLUS offers customers even more e-mail options, e.g. 25 MB storage space, retrieval and dispatch of messages via POP3/SMTP and e-mail filters. To use ePOST PLUS the user must agree to the use and forwarding of his address details, and receives product and service information from partners of Deutsche Post. ePOST PLUS is free of charge.
The service package ePOST PREMIUM offers the full range of e-mail services. Users receive 100 MB of storage space, e-mail filters, message retrieval via IMAP, 20 text messages per month and many other services designed for heavy e-mail use. This service package is available for EUR 2.95 per month.
Further information on the service packages is available at www.epost.de/leistungen.
Since its successful establishment on the market in June 2000 ePOST, Deutsche Post's communication portal, has acquired one million registered users. Besides the continued development of the e-mail service, the portal is expanding with Deutsche Post constantly adding new electronic communication and online services. For instance, amongst other services registered users have access to online photo albums, e-postcards, an online relocation service and subscription service.
