DHL delivers over 70,000 copies of the new Harry Potter book on time

This coming Saturday is when delivery across the globe of the new Harry Potter book is allowed to begin. DHL Express will ensure that more than 70,000 fans in Germany will have the eagerly awaited fifth book at home, on the first day of issue of the English language version, 21 June. Ordered at Amazon.de, delivered by DHL Express: both companies will again co-operation closely for this Harry Potter book.
'Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix' has broken all of Amazon's advance order records world-wide. Over one million copies have been ordered in advance. In Germany both the English and Germany versions - to appear in November - are eagerly awaited. Never before has an English book been ordered in advance so often at Amazon.de as the fifth Harry Potter book. On Friday over 70,000 copies in Amazon.de's logistics centre in Bad Hersfeld, Germany, will be loaded onto DHL lorries and distributed to private households via DHL branches in the whole of Germany. Ordering online at Amazon and delivery via DHL ensures reading pleasure without the pushing and shoving and long queues at the tills. An even more extensive logistics challenge is expected in November with the appearance of the German language version.
